Conferences

Since 1996 we have provided opportunities through high quality executive leadership conferences twice annually to CEOs/Executive Directors of member organizations, to connect with their peers.  Look where we have been and who has sponsored these amazing conferences.  List of past conferences and hosts.
 
Focus:
·        Professional presentations focusing on leadership, management, executive skills, nonprofit best practices, futuristic thinking, broad issues relating to the field of blindness, etc.
·        Networking
·        Visits to local member organization(s).
 
Time:           
·        April and October annually
·        Last Wednesday of the month through noon on following Saturday

·        Tuesday
Board arrives at hotel
Roxann provides training to hotel management/staff
·        Wednesday 
Board Meeting – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. w/ coffee and lunch
Welcome Event at Hotel – 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. w/open bar and food 
·        Thursday
Conference opens either at hotel meeting room or a member organization’s facility – 8:00 (breakfast) - 9:00 meeting begins. 
Evening – Restaurant Round-Table – Choose 7 or 8 restaurants within walking distance of hotel. Or, alternative group event.
·        Friday
Meeting convenes either at hotel or member agency – 8:30 to 9:00 w/breakfast and lunch
Evening – Group activity to showcase host city
·        Saturday
Meeting convenes at Hotel – 8:30 to Noon w/hot breakfast
